St. Mary's Syrian Orthodox Church

St. Mary's Jacobite Syriac Orthodox (JSO) Church of White Plains, NY is a Malankara Syriac Orthodox Church of Jacobite Christians hailing from Kerala, South India. It is a non-profit religious organization incorporated in New York, part of the Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch (Oriental Orthodox family), considered the first church of Christianity, established by the Apostle St. Peter.

The church is under the Malankara Archdiocese of the Syrian Orthodox Church in North America, with H.H. Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II as Supreme Head and Patriarch, H.E. Mor Titus Yeldho as Archbishop and Patriarchal Vicar, and Rev. Fr. Belson Paulose Kuriakose as Vicar.

The main altar is dedicated to St. Mary, the North altar to St. George, and the South altar to St. Gregorios of Parumala. Liturgy is in Malayalam, English and Syriac.
